When we arrive, the drywall should be finished. Our team will be tasked with the following work. Install the ceiling, T-111, doors, dry wall and ceiling around the stage, tile and paint.

What tools to bring

Tools that may be needed: Utility knife, work gloves, hammer, Tape measure and speed square.

If you have any of the following specialty tools, please consider bringing them : Laser level, Pop rivet guns, screw guns, cordless drill, Dry wall tools, level.

Other items: portable lights, fans, extension cords

What to wear

The weather will be hot. Dress in cool loose, tasteful attire. Shorts are OK. Sneakers or work boots are appropriate. No flip flops or open toe shoes on the job site.

20 RV sites in the park. For BFC he will not charge more than $5 per night for electric and water. You must call two weeks in advance. There is a chance he will not charge you anything since you are here to build a church. They are members of First Baptist church. 4 miles north of work site on Highway 31. this is an older trailer park not as nice as some of them, but the price is certainly right!

Swan Creek Trailer park – Athens, AL (256) 355-5392 Linda

Best Kept trailer park in area – very large- keeps 4 to 6 spaces for RV’s or campers. Full hook ups include water, sewer, electric and cable TV. $21 per night. 1-1/2 to 2 miles from site.

Point Mallard Campground – Decatur AL (256) 351-7772

749 Acre park located on the Tennessee river. 210 sites with water, sewer and electric. If you rent for a week (7days)) the fee is $113.4 per week paid in advance. The daily rate is $18.90 + tax per day. They fill up fast and you will need to make reservations ASAP. The have swimming pool, wave pool water slides, beach and hiking (if you have time for this. The park is 18 miles from the job site.

Joe Wheeler State Park – Rogersville, AL (256) 247-1184

110 sites with full hook-ups (water, electric, sewage). Modern Bath House with Hot showers. $19.80 per night. This park is 16-18 miles from the job site.

Monte Sano State Park – Huntsville, AL (256) 534-6589

This is a beautiful state park on top of the mountain in Huntsville. Rate for full hook ups are $18.90 + tax per night: water and electric only $16.80 + tax; pull thru’s are $21 + tax. This is approximately 25-30 miles from the job site.
